Runner Notes

Head away from the parking area this way and you'll feel great - cause it's all downhill! Head back and make sure you keep some in reserve for the final climb back to the parking lot!

Description

The Wood Thrush Trail is a great start to any run. Moving out, this trail has lots of downhill and heads through pine forests. There are a few stone walls to cross, reminders of the area's grazing and pasture history. Portions of the trail wind up some stream beds as well.
