Description

Catch the beginning of this trail just east of the Lazy Land access road. Follow the trail west as it passes the parking area for Yucca Flats. Once you make it to the picnic area, bear left and follow the trail to another picnic spot. Making a hard left will take you to Templeton Trail (signed).

Continue through, and follow the trail as it loops around and ends up at the same picnic area. Bear left on a wide path, then left on another wide path. Mind the dogs and people as this is a popular trail for both. Continue on to a what looks like a gully on your left and make your way down a series of well-worn gullies.

You'll come to the edge of the mesa, then skirt the edges. Follow the edge and continue on. the trail starts to bear right, and takes you back up to the dog walk area. Look for the trail to continue left. From here it's an easy descent to Templeton Trail.
