Runner Notes

This is an out-and-back run. Near Buzzards Roost (far end of the trail) there are high cliffs and some easy scrambling. Take care.

Description

Robe Mountain is a fun run out a ridge that takes you away from the busier overlook area and main Indian Fort Trail. The Buzzards Roost overlook provides amazing views to the north, east, and south.

This is not a flat ridge run, nor is it too tough. There are enough climbs to make it interesting, but not so many as to destroy your quads.

There is also a second overlook side trip to Eagle's Nest which is worth a visit.
