The Summit Trail is the northern-most section of the Smith Rock State Park Summit Loop
Trail, and where the Smith Rock State Park Summit Loop
Trail gets its name.

Plenty of open "High Desert" country to look at.
This section of the trail is pretty smooth and easy to walk, ride, or run on. The slope is not as steep as the Burma Road
