Runner Notes

The Rachel Carson Greenway Trail starts off as a hiking path so the running here is very technical, be prepared to slow down a lot.

Description

This trail is on the eastern side of the stream, as opposed to the Northwest Branch Trail. The two trails split right at the beginning. Simply follow the Rachel Carson Greenway Trail across the creek onto this hiker-only trail.

The trail starts out with a bang throwing rocks and uneven trail at you from the gun. Eventually, the trail becomes smoother after it crosses Colevsville road and is paved after it crosses the Capitol Beltway.
