Trail 365 is the best trail to tour the Sandia foothills. It runs parallel to the ridgeline at the base of the mountains. This upper portion of the trail runs from Montgomery Blvd to the Sandia Peak Tram and cuts through Bear Canyon and the Ellen Gallegos and Albert G. Simms Park. The trail can be used in either direction for most of the year.
