“One of the trails in the William F. Hayden Green Mountain Park.”

Plenty of fist-sized and smaller rocks on much of the trail.
From near the summit you descend west and then south. You'll traverse Green Mountain along the south side, in a way, mirroring the Green Mountain Trail
but higher up the mountain.
This is a nice alternative to the standard trail. There is a hang glider launch area a bit west of Green Mountain's summit.
Flora & Fauna
Not much for trees. Mostly prairie vegetation. Sometimes large herds of deer have been seen here. Rattlesnakes have been spotted on and off of this trail as well.
