“A steep short climb to the top of a beautiful exposed ridge.”
— Ben Duchac
Features: Birding — Fall Colors — Views
Steep and narrow. Ok for running, but there's not a lot of room if you run into traffic.
From Low's Upper Dam, turn right and climb past the old foundations of A.A. Low's Manor. The trail becomes narrow and climbs steeply through a forested area mixed with ferns and small grassy clearings. After less than a mile, you'll come out on Low's Ridge - an exposed stone outcrop that has great views over Low's Lake, Hitchins Pond, and the Adirondacks.
