“A nice linkup of several trails with lots of rollers.”— Tom Wolfe
Going to the right is a little steeper and takes a little distance off the run. After the last set, the trail is curvy up to the top section with Bonneville Shoreline Trail: Adams to Fernwood.
Going north along the BST, there are some rollers with some rocks on corners. There's a creek crossing about 0.8 miles along. This is the stone crossing and it has a bit of a climb out with continued rollers until mile 1.5 where there is a bridge to cross the creek and then a downhill section into the Fernwood trailhead. There are facilities here with water and toilet. Turn around a follow the trail back to the starting point or this can be done in reverse if parked at this trailhead. Turn around, follow the trail back to the starting point of Bonnevile Shorline Trail: Adams to Kayville Wilderness Park.
Follow the trail down to cross the first bridge, this is a little steep and has trees and rocks so a little technical then climbs out and has a steep technical spot at the top. The trail continues on with rollers for about a mile, this is a great spot to make up some time if you have been going slow on the climb.
Make your way down a rugged and technical descent to the next creek crossing which has rocks. There's a steep climb out on the other side. The climb out can be very slick when the trail is wet. Once on top it is a downhill romp for about 0.5 miles, there are some ruts on this section and a few berms so you can take the corners faster and then it drops onto hardpack with rock that is a gentle slope down to the trailhead. There is a small trail off to the left that goes around the gate. Head back to the start, going back down Adam's Canyon Switchbacks.
