A plaque with sage advice, was put in this cairn 20 years ago by the Willmore Wilderness Wanderers, a group of likeminded hikers of the Willmore Wilderness.

Strolling through the high meadows towards Mt. Morkill, 7,500 ft. (center), on a perfect September morning. Mt. Morkill and the ridge on the right, are all part of the Great Divide.
Bastille Mountain, 8,350 ft., Surprise Pass, and Mount Cote, 7,844 ft., are in the distance to the northwest.
