At The Notch on a lovely summer day :>). Bet the views are awesome on a clear day. The Notch, the high point of Skyline Trail, is a challenge to reach with its steep rocky south side, snow to mid-summer, wind, cold, and other weather.
A sunlit creek valley (left) is where Curator trail camp is found. Curator Lake (center right) in the distance is where Skyline Trail is headed as it heads north on the barren, alpine north side of Big Shovel Pass.
