This is the Big Springs Gap Trail as it crosses Otter Creek. The crossing is about 15m wide and necessary to gain access to Otter Creek Trail.
A red spotted newt, or in other words, proof that witches and English serfs live in the Otter Creek Wilderness.
An incredibly chill northern slimy salamander who was probably less wet than us from the rain and sweat.
The Green Mountain trail with rhododendron so thick, even the streams flow in the trail.
Feeling the natural sway of the bridge in a summer breeze and contemplating whether the rocks below or planks above are more slick.
