The early section of Lost Turkey Trail alternates between singletrack and doubletrack. Here, the trail crosses Pot Ridge Road. Runners pass through gates on either side of the road.

Barely seen is Blue Knob off in the distance, on the far left partially blocked by foliage. As you run this section you'll have a few occasions to see out across the valley, but no true vistas are available.
