Can't see the Giant Forest through all these giant trees.
The narrow paved trail and Beetle Rock. Even on a clear day in the Giant Forest, you can see the smog obscuring the view of the San Joaquin Valley.
The Alta Trail wanders beneath the shade of Giant Sequoias and other large evergreen trees. It is packed dirt and gravel at this point, making hiking easy.
