A burnt out car still sits at the Tomsich Butte Trailhead.
A strong desert storm brews above the San Rafael Swell.
This is an especially washed out part of the uranium mining road.
Look south from the mesa top for a great view back down on the Muddy Creek drainage.
The group wades through Muddy Creek.
Once you exit the canyon go right on Behind the Reef road. This is the cabin if you go left on the road (the wrong way). If you pass it, turn around! It's off in the distance and blends in, so you may not even see it.
