Every so often, you'll get a peek through the forest to the snow-capped mountains beyond.
Dense bushwhacking. Lots of ice the higher up you go makes it difficult to push through. Often the easiest route is to crawl or slide under the lowest branches.
Looking for chutes to climb in order to ascend the cliffs up to the summit of Friday. No ice on the south facing side!
