Heavy snow can make passage up Friday Mountain quite difficult.
Every so often, you'll get a peek through the forest to the snow-capped mountains beyond.
Dense bushwhacking. Lots of ice the higher up you go makes it difficult to push through. Often the easiest route is to crawl or slide under the lowest branches.
