Climbing through the wash is fairly easy in the morning, as the canyon is shaded from the sun.
The sun creeps its way along the top of the surrounding hills and mountains, while the canyon stays shaded until later in the day.
The characteristics of the canyon's walls change as you move along the trail.
Most people turn around after the first set of narrows, although the trail continues further up the canyon. A majority of the trail is a gravel wash that makes the trail relatively easy.
Ready to head back after journeying into Mosaic Canyon.
The rockfall appears to block the trail. However, by going to the left and scrambling through some boulders, you can get around it and continue up the canyon.
The trail is narrow throughout the canyon and requires some scrambling, especially in the upper ends of the canyon.
