Rand's View [Suggest Edits]

Description

Rand's View is a unique point of interest on the AT. The unique part is that it is a scenic overlook that benefits primarily from its low lying position. Though it is low, it offers unparalleled views of the remaining sections of the AT in Connecticut, specifically Lion's Head and Bear Mountain.

Additionally, the run to and from this spot is a very nice, if somewhat strenuous run. This is a destination perfect for a more experienced Connecticut runner.

Half-Day Run: This gem is only accessible by way of the AT. The closest road access is a little over two and a half miles away.
