Overview

This is a beautiful beach with ample wildlife viewing including sea lions, whales, hawks, osprey, salmon, and sea birds. The Klamath River is the largest river in California and flows through redwood forest into the Pacific Ocean at the estuary.

Short Walk: A short and easy 0.3-mile trail to Klamath Beach and estuary. Some roots and careful running are required to reach beach. Watch out for sneaker waves and do not climb on sacred rocks.

Family Friendly: An easy and short run to beautiful beach full of wildlife, driftwood, and incredible views.

Fallen Trees - It doesn't seem like this trail is used as often as the others due to it's difficulty. Some areas were overgrown and we didn't see anyone else throughout the whole trail but it made it that much better!
