Description

This is a beautiful beach with ample wildlife viewing including sea lions, whales, hawks, osprey, salmon, and sea birds. The Klamath River is the largest river in California and flows through redwood forest into the Pacific Ocean at the estuary.

Short Walk: A short and easy 0.3-mile trail to Klamath Beach and estuary. Some roots and careful running are required to reach beach. Watch out for sneaker waves and do not climb on sacred rocks.

Update
Mostly Dry - the bridge at the very end is closed. Sadly you'll be a stone's throw from the beach but not allowed to cross the tiny creek to get there.
