Panther Creek Falls [Suggest Edits]

Description

This is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in southern Washington and is easily accessible. The falls drop 130 feet total over two main drops - the highest of which is 102 feet. Most of Panther Creek's water volume falls in a tight turn, but the beauty of the falls is from water spilling over the cliff and a few springs that join in the action forming a streaks of white between lush moss. But don't expect solitude at this crowded gem!

Short Run: There is an unmarked parking area across the road from the unmarked trail with room for a lot of cars. Look for a large scree field and gravel pull-out area. The trail is short and a very easy grade to the upper viewpoint. Lots of split-rail fencing has been added to try and keep human-induced erosion to a minimum. The new trail to the lower platform is basically one large switchback and slightly steeper but still family friendly.
