Need to Know

The trail is open to the public. Parking is free. However, the visit to the cave does have an admission fee.

Runner Notes

In the spring, the trail can be muddy. The rock bridge does have a small gap in it.

Description

The beginning of this path is a paved trail leading to a woodchip pathway through the woodland. There are two bridges. One is a concrete slab and the other is a rock bridge. The woods are home to large old oak trees. It is an easy run. A couple of features to see on the pathway is an intermittent stream, geocache, and two large wooden boxes that used to house lights when this area was a place where musicals once were performed in the 1970s & 1980s.

Flora & Fauna

Beautiful ephemerals can be seen in the spring. Wildflowers have been spotted.
