Accessible during Mohawk Park hours, 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. See oxleynaturecenter.org/ for complete information. Note: Tulsa Code of Ordinances, Title 26. Chapter 1. PARKS, § 111. Oxley Nature Center: All trails and footpaths are restricted for pedestrian and wheelchair traffic. No one shall launch or operate a boat of any kind in any body of water within the boundaries of the Oxley Nature Center. All horses are specifically prohibited from the trails of the Oxley Nature Center.

Description

This natural-surface trail begins at the outer gate of the Oxley Nature Center, which closes at 5:00 pm.

This path can be muddy at times, with one deeper bog east of the Thrush Trail junction.

This trail passes through what was a low open field in August 1974 when the Nature Center was established. This gives some perspective on the recovery of trees over time.
