You have to take either X Lake or Otter Loop to get to this portion of the Talkeetna Lake Trails. $5 parking fee or annual fee.

Need to Know

Outhouse at parking lot. Access via otter loop at the Whigmi Trailhead or X lake loop at the Comsat Trailhead. Same $5 parking fee.

Runner Notes

Grassy rolling hills with some dirt and gravel. Stroller friendly with big wheels. Share the trail with bikers and people going fishing and swimming for lake access.

Description

Nice wide well-marked trail. Read the signs and make sure you stay on the loop or you'll end up on the larger trail system getting extra miles. Trail markers are black for Martin Trail
