Dogs Leashed

Trails are pretty well marked, making it easy to stay on the trail if you keep an eye out. Also, there are emergency location markers on the trail. We ran into dogs and mountain bikers.

In most places, the trail is wide and easy to negotiate. There are inclines, but none are all that steep. There are some very pretty spots along the trail, and views of the lake will open up in the fall and winter. You won't be alone on the trails. We ran into other users more than once, and some had dogs. Also, we saw mountain bikers on the other trails.

Fortunately, there was plenty of room to let people and their dogs pass by. This was a very pleasant run and the woods were nice and cool on an otherwise hot day. Like all the trails in the area, you never really escape the traffic noise.
