This trail branches (left) off the Pine Cobble Trail and follows along a flat grade. It skirts around the rocky base of Pine Cobble to the Chestnut Trail (on the left). The trail then ascends a steep rocky section and ends at the AT.

Flora: White Pine, White Birch, Beech, Oak, Chinquapin Oak, Maple, Sheep Laurel, Blueberry, Chestnut, Witch Hazel, Wintergreen, Bracken Fern, Eastern Hemlock, Rock Polypody, Mountain Laurel, Red Spruce, Christmas Fern, Japanese Barberry, Musclewood, Hop Hornbeam, Wild Grape, and Maple-Leaf Viburnum.
Fauna: Chickadee, Titmouse, Pileated Woodpeckers, Deer (tracks), snow fleas, porcupine (tracks), wingless mosquito, Grouse.
