Runner Notes

There a few steep, rocky areas that are a challenge to a trail runner.

Description

A run through Gull Bay Preserve will treat the nature lover to a variety of birds Including the blue heron. Although we did not see a blue heron while we there, we saw the habitat where their rookeries are located. The trail went around a marshy area and if you are prepared to run (wade) through the water you can continue on around to make a loop. We, however, were not prepared to run in the water, so we turned around to make it more of an out-and-back.
