Need to Know

Bring water. Wear sturdy and comfortable shoes. If sunny, bring a hat or sunscreen.
Shut and latch any cow gates once through to ensure cattle stay inside premises.

Runner Notes

Be aware of the large boulders and canyon cliff edges.

Description

The 0.2 mile track starts behind the East Boys cabin gates and meet up with both Baxa Trail and Diffendal Loop to lead 3 other ways. It has several boulders and rocks to look at or climb on. Along the trail you'll also find a deep canyon where you can see cliff swallows or even barn owls.

Flora: Spiderwort, Yucca, Barrel Cactus, Downy Brome, Smooth Brome, Prickly Pear Cactus, Eastern redcedar
Fauna: Prairie Rabbits, Barn Owls, Morning glory, American Goldfinch, Cedar Waxwing, Redtail Hawk
