Overview

This is a beautiful trail race that takes you through the the Bear River Mountains. The course offers a great variety of terrain and sweeping views of the area.

Runner Notes

There are several springs located on the trail are safe to drink from that run during the spring. Also, depending on the snow pack you'll most likely encounter snow on your way to Logan Peak.

Description

You begin by climbing quickly from the Logan Valley through Dry Canyon until hitting a cross trail. You then head southwest until turning on a jeep trail that puts you at the base of Logan Peak. Once making the climb to the peak and returning back down, you follow the jeep trail north until turning onto most beautiful section of singletrack on the course. The trail winds through pine trees and open fields climbing over the top of the mountain range and reconnecting you with the Dry Canyon Trail. There you descend to your starting destination.
