Description

This trail begins near the Deep Ford Campground at the southern edge of the park. It leads up and down along forest and bluffs overlooking the west sides of Lake Carlton and Lake Wayne Wallace. As the trail leaves Lake Wayne Wallace and heads towards Rough Canyon, the Rocky Top Backcountry Site is available for camping. Stop here or continue to the parking lot via the Cattail Pond Loop and Rough Canyon Trail.
