Description

The Pecan Bottom Trail leads you on a winding tour through pecan trees in the upper reaches of the floodplain. Though not a loop, the trail starts and ends at junctions with Deep Sandy Trail; it is a fairly short and level section of trail.

Here you can see the transition from the riparian zone to the upland forests. The largest pecan tree in the park is along this trail and still thriving after 200 years.
