This is a popular trail for mountain bikers. Be alert for descending riders as you run.

Description

Herron trail starts as a gently rolling contour trail before it drops down into the Jacks Run Valley. Part way down there is a large stump mound on the left. At that point, the trail turns and drops sharply to the left, then immediately turns sharp and quick to the right.

The lower portions of the trail have some features for mountain bikers, but they are easy to go around. At a climbing left, the singletrack junctions with Nettle. Continuing on Heron, complete the sweep left, then turn right. At the end, you'll meet up with Deer (a left turn) and Coyote (straight across).
