Description

The run follows the path along the Hacking River. It is easygoing, with the Forest Island Loop at the end (easy singletrack).

The path is easy - slightly undulating, mostly flat dirt, very easy underfoot. From Audley it's about 9.5kms to the other end, and you can then add on the 3kms for the Forest Island Track if you wish.

There's no water along the way so bring your own. I had no problems finding my way as the trail was well marked and well maintained.

Flora & Fauna

The run passes through beautiful bush, passing blue gums, turpentines, and patches of rainforest.
