This trail is open from dusk to dawn. All trails are closed during the first two days of deer-hunting season. The Lookout Trail is the only trail that reopens on the third day and is open throughout the deer season.

I don't trail run, but you'd have to be into parkour to run this route.

Description

You can start the Skyline Trail either on the eastern Golden Eagle Connector Trail or at the top of the Lookout Trail. If you're looking for a more difficult run, you should start to the east on the Golden Eagle Connector Trail and work your way toward the North Lookout. At the end of this trail, you'll have to literally climb with your hands and feet up large boulders to reach the top.
