Runner Notes

Watch your ankles, mainly on the downhill, many loose rocks!

Description

Once you cross the little creek, it seems like you might not get far away, but the singletrack manages to serpent around the bushes and some cacti. After a while, you go by a nice rock climbing spot and head on to the open, desert-like, area with very low bush formations, it reminded me of Marin County in California.

When you get to the top, head to your left until you find a road, that will take you to the Don Quijote de la Mancha Monument, which is a little surprising sculpture in the middle of the mountain. There you can head down either by the road, or find one of many singletracks that will take you directly to the little dam, where you can refresh yourself.
