Description

This path starts from the parking lot and goes up along the park's eastern edge. There are lovely views of Pike's Peak from the highest point on the trail. Along the way, there area abundant sunflowers blooming during the summer and fall. The path begins with a short climb, but then quickly levels off before descending into Ponderosa pine scrubland.
