Overview

This is a great run along an old carriageway in Australia's oldest national park. The run follows the path along the Hacking River. It is easygoing, with the Forest Way Track at the end (easy singletrack).

Description

The run passes through beautiful bush, passing blue gums, turpentines, and patches of rainforest.

The path is easy - slightly undulating, mostly flat dirt, very easy underfoot. From Audley it's about 9.5kms to the other end, and you can then add on the 3kms for the Forest Way Track if you wish.

There's no water along the way so bring your own. I had no problems finding my way as the trail was well marked and well maintained.
