Runner Notes

There are some rocky parts to the trail. Some areas also travel over loose rock.

Description

From the dirt parking area at the trailhead, look for what appears to have been an old dirt road. Follow this briefly until it forks, then take the left fork to head northeast up the trail. The first 1/3 of the way travels up to the ridge, then the remainder follows the ridgeline up to the peak.

About halfway to the top, the trail flattens out briefly and provides some great views of the northern part of the city. Past this point, the trail is relatively easy to follow but it will have you traveling across a few slabs of rock. The trail follows a straight path to the peak at this point, with a couple of switchbacks the last 0.1 mile to the top. Once you find yourself at the summit, relax and enjoy the 360-degree views of the city!
