Trail goes through an active logging zone - be aware.
Description
The first third of the trail is on a dirt road used for logging. The trail forks pretty close to the start--stay straight/left following the road and (occasional) yellow blazes until you come to a big empty logged clearing. The trail continues at the far end of the clearing and becomes singletrack and much more enjoyable.
At the top of the first hill, you'll be running on singletrack right next to a large clear-cut section for a bit. You'll head back into the woods as you come down the other side. The final ascent is steep. Near the top there is a short unmarked spur on the right side of the trail that goes to a good view of the Kinsmans. At the top, you'll pass an old foundation.
After the peak the trail appears to keep going down the other side, though it is much more overgrown. Not sure where this leads.
