Runner Notes

This is a wonderful place to trail run! There are some pretty large roots, as is common on Florida trails in oak scrub environments.

Description

The Lake Loop is a pleasant, easy trail that is just about wheelchair accessible, with no roots and very little elevation change. From the Lake Loop, keep an eye out for trail heads to more difficult singletrack trails with more elevation change and roots.

Flora & Fauna

In the lake, you can see turtles and fish pretty regularly, and there is apparently an alligator. Many native plants are visible, many of them clearly labeled. Birds abound.
