Just be wary of traffic!

We took Stage Road back down to Avalon from the Divide Road trail. It's an old paved road that goes up to a lookout and a Socal Edison area. The road is in use for some trucks and tour jeeps that passed us on the way down. The road is clearly old and uneven, but it's still paved with guard rails on the mountain side.

It's a fairly easy route and the views are still nice looking out to the ocean. It starts (or ends depending which way you go) at the staging area for the zip line tours. It has a cool entrance, and a working gate for locals. It's basically just an old road to the top. Not super exciting, but it brings you to the good running at the top!
