The Spruce Creek Trail and beginning of Deadhorse are great singletrack. Deadhorse is not open to bikes, but any type of foot traffic is allowed.

Start at the parking lot across from the Fraser Experimental Forest buildings. The trailhead on the north side of the access road, just across from the parking lot. It is marked with a trail sign right next to the road. The entire trail is marked by plastic, blue trail markers nailed to trees.

Run up this trail until you come to a three way intersection. Going right is Tipperary Creek Trail, but stay left, through the gate to get on the Deadhorse Loop. You'll roll a bit, but mostly continue to climb until coming to a clearing on wide doubletrack. This is where the descent begins. Turn left and continue following the blue trail markers back to the parking lot.
