Description

This route follows the wash and then about a mile up, cuts to the left, winds through a valley and over a saddle back to White Rock Canyon trail. Currently, there are no signs along the trail, so stay on the worn path, follow a map, use a GPS, or the Trail Run Project mobile app. This trail has more direct sunshine than White Rock Canyon trail so it gets HOT.

Flora & Fauna

An abundance of desert flowers in the early spring, February and March. Plants include indigo bush, ground cherry, Mormon tea, cheese bush, rush-milkweed, rabbit brush, desert fir, globe mallow, desert tobacco, desert trumpet, rock nettle, rock daisy, and windmills. You might also come nose to nose with a big horn sheep on this route.
