Runner Notes

Due to its proximity to the visitor center, this route may be too crowded to make for an enjoyable run.

Description

Beginning at the Sugarlands Visitor Center, head north along the short loop through gorgeous eastern hardwoods. Take your time to appreciate the shaded environs surrounding the trail.

Eventually, the trail leads visitors to a small log cabin built by John Ownby and the remains of another cabin once owned by Noah McCarter.
