Description

This is truly the highlight of Bonticou Crag. The Bonticou Ascent Path, marked by yellow blazes painted on the rocks, departs Bonticou Road after a brief descent from the carriage road down to the talus pile.

Follow the yellow blazes up the marked path to gain the ridge. Enjoy awesome views atop the ridge, then descend (more difficult than the ascent), or continue to follow the yellow blazes across the ridge line to the blue blazed Northeast Trail connection.
