Description

The Sierra Morena Trail leads through lots of dips and turns as it contours just below Skyline Blvd. Its nicely wooded slopes provide occasional glimpses of the main canyon below.

The trail stays up along the ridgeline instead of plunging into the canyon like most other trails in the Corte Madera area and is therefore much less strenuous. Stop along the way to check out the view from the top of the meadow just south of the Gordon Mill fire road at gate CM03.

You can run this trail in either direction. It can be broken into segments using any of the parking spots along Skyline Blvd. Note: bikes are allowed on this trail.

The Sierra Morena Trail passes under a tree that has fallen over the trail. Watch your head if you're riding a bike!
