Need to Know

There's not a lot of room to park at the Thurrell Road Trailhead.

Description

From the trailhead parking on Emery's Bridge Road, the trail climbs up to Balancing Rock Trail (on the left). Balancing Rock Trail is a short loop that passes by an ecological feature. A little bit further up the trail, Patti's Way will be on your right. At the top of Spring Hill, there's a small spur trail (on the left) that will take you out to the Tatnic Ledges Lookout. As the trail descends from Spring Hill, it'll pass by the other end of Patti's Way (on the right), and it turns left. The trail crosses the Littlefield Intersection and continues to the western edge of the Orris Falls Conservation Area. The trail travels through private property to the trailhead parking on Thurrell Road.

Flora & Fauna

Flora: White Pine, Rock Tripe.
Fauna: Barred Owl, Beaver (dams and lodges).
