Description
This trail starts off Route 113, just across from Brickett Place, and follows along the Cold River for nearly 2 miles. It crosses over the Cold River multiple times and passes by a series of waterfalls. After 2 miles, the trail begins to ascend a steep segment up to
Laughing Lion Trail. It continues up to Royce
Connector (on the right), and turns left. The trail reaches a narrow "car wash" corridor, where it crosses over the border into New Hampshire, and turns right. It continues through the pass to the top of
Burnt Mill Brook, then turns left. Here, the trail becomes much rockier, and it's very important to watch your footing. The trail continues until it reaches the summit of West Royce Mountain.
