This is a new trail (in 2025), connecting the Headwaters Trail with the Redtail Trail above where they each drop off the small plateau. This trail travels through rapidly developing areas. Gratefully, the City of Prescott got right-of-way for these trails before it was too late.

Beginning at the Headwaters Trail just at the point where the trail peels away from the Agua Fria River bed, this trail continues across the "river" and along up to its very source. The slope is pretty gentle, but does climb a bit. Once past the source point (not well defined), the trail terminates at the Redtail Trail just above the switchback section.

This trail could be incorporated into many different routes.
