Description

Beginning along High Ridge Street on the west side of Strickland Park, this wide concrete trail runs over to Eastbrook Drive and Spaniel Street. Strickland Park features access to Greens Bayou for kayaks and canoes via the Paddle Trail.

After 250 feet on Spaniel Street the concrete trail continues due west with intermittent shade then turning south to reach an at-grade crossing of Woodforest Boulevard. For a short distance the trail is a wide sidepath on the south side of Woodforest, but it quickly turns south along the west side of the Maxey Road Park and Ride. The trail continues south to end at Maxey Park.

This trail was completed in May 2019.
